Opening Hours in China

Official offices in China are usually open from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday, with an hour-long lunch break.

Banks, hospitals, post offices and similar institutions are usually open seven days a week from 8:30 am to 6:00 pm.

Shops and supermarkets are often open until 10:00 pm, also seven days a week.

Hours can vary from place to place — in western China, for example, opening hours tend to run later, since the whole country uses a single time zone regardless of longitude.
