Shooting was one of the founding sports of the 1896 Athens Olympics and has featured at every Games since, apart from 1928.
At Beijing 2008, shooting runs from August 9–17 at the Beijing Shooting Range Hall and the Beijing Shooting Range Clay Target Field.
Chinese shooters have historically performed very well, so there's every reason to expect more Chinese medals at the 2008 Games.
