Hong Kong's skyline can be admired from several vantage points — the Peak and the Avenue of Stars both offer excellent views, where photographers also sell professional photos with the skyline as a backdrop starting from around HK$10. A light show takes place at 8:00 pm, though many buildings switch off their lights again from around 11:00 pm. Companies such as Philips, Samsung and HSBC use the skyline itself as advertising space.
