General Information: | Anhui was founded at the beginning of the Qing-Dynasty and its borders have only changed a little since then. The population consists mainly of Han-Chinese; the two largest minorities are the She and the Hui. Of great importance to the province are the Huai-River, the capital Hefei and the city Tunxi.
