Skies Clearing in South China

According to the China Meteorological Administration, the southern regions of the country will have sunny skies in the short-run, a relief for many Chinese people who are currently celebrating the annual Spring Festival.

As a result of melting snow and ice, several public utilities such as electricity and transportation are being restored. The evaporation has also caused a dense fog to cover several provinces in South China.

Although many efforts have been pushed by the government to combat this natural calamity, it is still warning the people in heavily-affected areas to maintain caution and prepare for the unexpected.
