Both countries have exchanged investigators recently in order to identify the causes of contamination.

Japanese authorities suspected that the contamination was actually an attempted murder case.
China's first lunar probe, Chang'e-1, will be the country's third space trophy after successfully sending man-made satellites and space flights in recent years.
The "can-do" spirit shown by the Chinese, coupled with their display of international cooperation through knowledge and technical skills sharing with Japan, Germany and other countries, has helped in materialising this dream. Its launch late last year has been applauded and cheered by a huge audience, both domestically and internationally, through local and international media. The probe carried and broadcasted 30 classical Chinese songs and music pieces while it was about to enter lunar orbit.
This mission is part of a three-stage lunar mission which would consolidate the country's position in the ranks of space-faring nations. The probe is expected to stay in orbit around the moon for one year, relaying pictures back to earth for lunar and space research purposes.
